As a Security Officer - Industrial Roving Patrol Driver in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and report observations with clear communication. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access at gates and other entry points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, and directing traffic flow per site procedures.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, and take appropriate action when unusual activity is observed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Complete routine rounds and inspections, documenting unusual conditions such as open doors, damaged fencing, lighting outages, and/or unsecured equipment.
- Write clear, timely reports and maintain accurate shift logs, including incident reports, patrol activity, and visitor and/or contractor activity.
- Perform vehicle and foot patrols as required, including checking designated checkpoints and responding to calls for service.
- Support site operations by providing directions, answering questions, and coordinating with site personnel to resolve access and/or policy concerns.
- Follow Allied Universal and site-specific policies, maintain a professional appearance, and participate in required training and briefings.
Minimum Requirements: - - A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- - At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
