As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document observations with clear, timely communication. You will support access control, respond to reports, and deliver customer service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical situations, and fire-related alerts, and notify appropriate parties per post orders.
  • Monitor access points and help control entry and exit for employees, contractors, and deliveries by checking identification, visitor logs, and delivery documentation as required by site procedures.
  • Perform security-related screening of vehicles and/or packages when directed by site policy, and document exceptions in accordance with post orders.
  • Operate and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm panels, and report malfunctions or suspicious activity to supervision and/or site contacts.
  • Complete daily reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation with clear, accurate details, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.
  • Provide directions and assistance to employees, contractors, and visitors, and escalate concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities by following established procedures for evacuations, severe weather, and other site-specific events, and assist first responders with access and information when requested.
  • Maintain a professional presence and appearance, follow confidentiality expectations, and comply with Allied Universal and site policies while working varying environments and conditions across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
