Job Description




As a Security Officer - Media Campus Patrol Driver in Bridgeton, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a driving role. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to requests with clear communication and customer service. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will support a caring culture that puts people first and always acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting onsite management and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, parking areas and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras and/or access control systems, and report unusual activity according to post orders.
  • Control access for employees, contractors and visitors by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges and directing guests to approved areas.
  • Perform routine checks of doors, gates, loading areas and critical rooms to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, maintenance concerns and policy violations using written logs and/or electronic reporting tools.
  • Assist with crowd management and orderly movement during meetings, events and shift changes, as directed by site leadership.
  • Coordinate with Allied Universal leadership, client representatives and local responders to support incident response and business continuity activities.
  • Support a professional workplace by providing directions, answering questions and helping to resolve minor concerns before they escalate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
