About This Position

The Legal Affairs Department of TKC Holdings is seeking a Contract & Regulatory (Attorney Position) Manager to support its Legal Affairs team in contract, general corporate, and regulatory work.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Assist Assistant Counsel for Contracts with bid-related responsibilities which includes reviewing government procurement documents (RFPs/RFQs/ITBs).
  • Assist Assistant Counsel in working with internal clients on resolving all legal issues pertaining to various contract matters in a manner consistent with the company's business philosophy and strategy, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Support of contract lifecycle management system across all TKC companies.
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial and business contracts to which the company is a party and ensure that they properly protect TKC's interests and objectives, including: confidentiality agreements, service agreements, licensing agreements, purchasing agreements and sales agreements.
  • Maintain and update contract forms and templates along with policies and procedures for all TKC companies.
  • Federal and state government contract compliance.
  • Stay abreast of, and research, laws, regulations, and cases affecting TKC's business and provide interpretive guidance to organizational leadership, with a focus on ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Responsibility for various legal documents including registrations, Money Transmitter licenses, and contracts/ logs.
  • Special projects as requested by senior in-house attorneys.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Juris Doctorate degree.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a law firm, in-house, or government setting working in the area of contract management/drafting.
  • Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency and familiar with contract lifecycle management/database applications in general.
  • Government (Federal and State) contracting.
  • Federal Government Contract Compliance.
