The Opportunity:

University Compliance, Ethics, and Risk seeks applications for an Athletics Compliance Coordinator. The Athletics Compliance Coordinator supports the institution's athletics compliance program by assisting with the monitoring, education, and enforcement of NCAA, conference, and institutional rules to ensure the eligibility and integrity of student-athletes and athletics programs.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist with monitoring NCAA bylaws to support institutional compliance, including personnel, recruiting, academic eligibility, awards/benefits, and playing/practice seasons.

  • Prepare and deliver rules education materials for coaches, staff, studentathletes, and campus partners.

  • Maintain and update compliance records across areas such as ethical conduct, amateurism, eligibility, financial aid, and rules monitoring to ensure adherence to NCAA, conference, and university regulations.

  • Enter and manage data within compliance software platforms, including NCAA Applications, CSC systems, and Teamworks.

  • Coordinate meetings and education sessions by preparing materials, scheduling, and supporting communication needs.

  • Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills while managing deadlines, documentation, and daytoday compliance activities.

  • Perform other compliancerelated duties and support tasks as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master's degree or Juris Doctor (JD), especially with coursework or emphasis related to sports law, compliance, higher education, or regulatory environments.

  • NCAA or conference compliance experience, including internships within collegiate athletics departments.

  • Experience working in Division I athletics, with additional preference for candidates from Big 12, other Power 4, or highly regulated athletics programs.

  • Experience creating and delivering compliance education, training materials, or presentations.

  • Proficiency with compliance software, such as NCAA Applications, CSC Compliance Systems, and Teamworks.

  • Familiarity with design software such as PowerPoint or Canva for producing educational materials.

  • Strong project management, organization, and documentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
