About the Role

UCB is seeking a Medical Solutions Lead to support Epilepsy, with a focus on Acute Seizures. In this role, you will help shape and execute U.S. Medical Affairs strategy for the therapeutic area, driving initiatives that address evidence gaps, elevate medical education, and improve quality of care. You'll collaborate closely with the Medical Strategy Lead and crossfunctional partners to bring impactful medical solutions to life.

This office-based position works out of our US Headquarters in Atlanta, GA and candidate is expected to be located no longer than a 2-hour commute to Atlanta.

What You'll Do

  • Execute medical affairs plans aligned with therapeutic area strategy.
  • Lead regional/local medical initiatives including education, material review, internal training, and qualityofcare programs.
  • Serve as a scientific expert and provide input to internal teams and crossfunctional projects.
  • Drive acute seizure initiatives in partnership with ecosystem, operations, and crossfunctional teams.
  • Leverage innovation and omnichannel approaches to strengthen communication and solution delivery.
  • Support patient engagement, insights generation, advisory boards, congress activities, and publications.
  • Interpret and communicate clinical and realworld evidence.
  • Ensure scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance across medical materials and events.
  • Maintain uptodate expertise in epilepsy and support internal training.
  • Support clinical research opportunities (Phase III, RWE, IIS).
  • Provide training and communication support to field medical teams.
  • Track deliverables, budgets, and project milestones.

Who you'll work with

  • Engage and Partner with internal and external experts and stakeholders to co-create innovative solutions that address gaps in the local care management landscape that will enhance standards of care for patients.
  • Seeks and Collect insights on the local care management landscape for the assigned therapeutic area and consults with external experts (e.g.: advisory board, consolidated field medical insights, competitive intelligence and industry reports and guidelines)
  • Engages with National and international Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) in the respective Area country.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Advanced degree: MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, or similar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Medical Affairs experience in pharma or relevant clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong strategic and business acumen.
  • Proven contributions to medical affairs or clinical development strategy.
  • Expertise in the relevant therapeutic area.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex science.
  • Effective collaborator across crossfunctional teams and global/regional partners.
  • Experience with review committee processes and regulatorycompliant material development.
  • Strong relationships with scientific and clinical experts.
  • Solid understanding of pharma and healthcare ecosystems.
  • Excellent organizational and projectmanagement skills.
  • Ability to travel ~30%.

This position's reasonably anticipated salary range is $148,000-194,000 annually. The actual salary offered will consider internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
