Make your mark for patients

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Global Business Services team based out of our US headquarters in Smyrna, GA (hybrid, 2 days per week onsite)

About the role
We are seeking a Business Analyst who is passionate about leveraging analytics and automation to transform finance operations. You will play a key role in accelerating finance processes through automated process excellence across the various U.S. GBS functions including:

* Gross-to-Net (G2N)
* Accounts Receivable (AR)
* Accounts Payable (AP)
* Accounting & Reporting (R2R)
* Travel & Expense (T&E)

The ideal candidate will work to ensure strategic alignment with global finance objectives, drive operational excellence, and foster cross-functional collaboration to support business growth and compliance.

Who you'll work with
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will actively engage with cross-functional teams throughout the organization, collaborating with both regional and global colleagues within the GBS functions to drive process optimization and deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes. You will be empowered to critically assess and reimagine existing processes by thoroughly analyzing current workflows, collaborating closely with organizational leaders, and proactively proposing innovative, strategic solutions that drive transformation and future readiness.

What you'll do
* Drive cross-functional collaboration: Partner with the U.S. GBS teams to deliver streamlined, high-quality outcomes that support business growth, process efficiency, and compliance.
* Lead process transformation: Analyze and reimagine existing workflows, proactively identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
* Strategic partnership: Work closely with organizational leaders to recommend innovative solutions that position the organization for future success.
* Champion operational excellence: Ensure alignment with global finance objectives, driving efficiency, compliance, and best practices across all GBS functions.
* Challenge the status quo: Critically assess established processes and embrace change to foster a culture of innovation.
* Harness advanced analytics: Utilize data analytics and visualization tools (Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau) to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.
* Implement automation solutions: Integrate process excellence technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), UiPath, and Alteryx to optimize operations.
* Leverage modern data platforms: Employ platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and OneLake to enhance data management and analytics capabilities.
* Apply data science methodologies: Use machine learning, predictive analytics, and modeling tools to drive business insights and transformation.
* Utilize project management best practices: Apply Agile methodologies and process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) to manage projects efficiently, communication project status, and deliver results.

Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills
Required:
* Masters degree in Data Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering or other related field
* 3-5 years in business or comparable work experience
Preferred:
* Demonstrated experience collaborating across teams within a matrixed organization
* Proven ability to engage with management and effectively partner with stakeholders at all organizational levels
* Skilled in identifying performance metrics and developing key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Strong aptitude for explaining processes and envisioning innovative solutions
* Familiarity with finance systems, especially SAP
* Strong analytical mindset and a passion for automation and digital transformation
* Ability to critically evaluate processes, identify gaps, and propose actionable improvements

This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $88,000 - $116,000. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
