The Role Acute General Medicine encompasses seven inpatient units:3 East, 3 Central, 3 West, 3 North, 4 North, 4 Central, and 6 Central.While each unit has unique characteristics and patient populations, all share a commitment to outstanding patient care, teamwork, and professional nursing practice. In this role, you will care for adult patients experiencing a wide variety of medical conditions and disease processes in a fast-paced acute care environment. Depending on the unit, patient populations may include individualsrequiringepilepsy monitoring, oncology-related care, ketamine treatment, specialty post-surgical care, and management of diverse high-acuity medical conditions.
