Psych Tech

D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedule, Holidays, Weekends, On Call, Call back per unit needs. 36 hrs (may consider 48).

Looking for a compassionate team player to be involved in direct care and clinical services to in-patient psychiatric patients on an individual basis. Responsibilities include activities such as daily living, social and psychiatric rehabilitation as directed by the RN. The candidate must communicate with patients effectively and ensure they have access to required services, while informing the RN of any patient changes. Participation in rounds and group therapy as needed is also expected.

• 2 years of recent experience
• BLS from AHA
• AAS degree in psychology or sociology required
• CPI required - preferred blue card, MUST include hands-on training

• 2 years of experience as psych tech - Required
• BLS - Required
• Associate's Degree in Psychology or Sociology - Required
• CPI - blue card preferred - must include hands-on training - Required
