| Position Summary |
The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is seeking a board certified or board eligible Pulmonary Medicine physician with expertise in the management of patients with sarcoidosis as well as other advanced airways diseases including
COPD and asthma. The ideal candidate will provide high quality, patient centered care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, contribute to and lead multidisciplinary disease specific clinical and research programs, and participate in the rotation schedule for the inpatient pulmonary consult services. |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Applicants must hold an MD or DO and be BC/BE in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine. Candidate will have completed fellowship training in pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine. |
| Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Previous training and experience in managing patients with Interstitial Lung Diseases and interest and skills in resident and fellow teaching in the clinic and on inpatient wards are preferred. Demonstrated experience working effectively with a team of specialist physicians, pharmacists, nurses, radiologists, and pathologists to provide state-of-the-art multidisciplinary care also preferred. |
