The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Virginia is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Coordinator, Non-Licensed, to perform a variety of activities to support the department's clinical trials. The position is under the direct supervision of our department's CRC manager, with guidance from our clinical faculty (Principal Investigators). This is a part time position, averaging 20-24 hours per week. Candidates should have availability during the weekdays within standard daytime business hours, with half or more on site. The role is onsite with a potential for a hybrid work schedule based on clinic needs and candidate's experience. Other position duties include, but not limited to:
This is a wage position which is not eligible for leave or other benefits and is limited to 1500 hours of work in a year. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's Degree Required or equivalent combination of experience, education and or certifications. Experience: None. 1 year experience in a healthcare setting and/or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. Licensure: None. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
