DEMAND MANAGER

Estimated annual base pay: $72,000 (minimum) - $93,000 (midpoint) - $115,000(maximum)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand Forecasting: Develop and manage demand forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, customer forecasts, and statistical models.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales and market data to identify patterns and inform demand planning strategies.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with customers, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of demand forecasts with customer needs, operational capabilities, and business objectives.
  • S&OP Process: Knowledge of S&OP Processes, inventory management and supply chain best practices.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present demand reports, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision making.

Key Skills:

  • Demand Forecasting: Ability to analyze and interpret data to more accurately predict future product or service demand.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in using analytical tools and methodologies to assess market trends and consumer behavior.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication to collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Process Optimization: Identify demand fluctuations and provide recommendations to mitigate risk.
  • Problem Solving: Strong ability to identify issues related to demand fluctuations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with demand planning software and ERP systems to manage and track demand data efficiently.
  • Market Research: Skill in conducting comprehensive market research to understand industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with customers, sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to align demand planning with business goals.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in handling data and forecasts to ensure accuracy and reliability in demand planning processes.
  • Product & Application Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and understand Woodward's product portfolios and their applications, if no prior knowledge established.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust demand strategies in response to changing market conditions and business priorities.
