What you'll be doing...

You will support troubleshooting, implementations and testing efforts needed to assist the wholesale channel and resellers to profitably grow and increase revenue. You will be responsible for testing all system application enhancements and changes.

  • Assist with testing requests necessary to resolve issues on behalf of the Reseller, Operations, Sales Support or Account Management team

  • Support API documentation updates and customer testing requests

  • Support all API integration requests

  • Support VPN and firewall integrations and updates

  • Maintain VPN/firewall documents and work with network teams to make necessary changes

  • Perform regression testing when network changes are made such as migrations of subscribers to new switches or other network elements

  • Participate in meetings to understand and test new functionality

  • Responsible for creating and setting up test scenarios/test scripts to ensure the system is working as desired

  • Responsible for the execution of Wholesale Systems UAT testing

  • Responsible for post-release testing (this includes release night/morning testing)

  • Perform user acceptance testing when new features and/or functionality are implemented

  • Serve as the point of contact for IT to communicate all Wholesale Systems UAT outage notifications to resellers. Ensure timely communications of UAT testing window changes

  • Serve as Wholesale Systems SME to support initiative clarification requests

What we're looking for...

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience

  • Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience

  • Experience with creating and executing test scripts

  • Network background and/or call processing knowledge

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • A degree

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment with a strong customer focus

  • Strong knowledge of Verizon systems (RSSx) rating, provisioning, and billing systems

  • Ability to work in a multi-task environment with aggressive deadlines

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong follow-up skills with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience with API testing
