The USC Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences is seeking a Student Services Advisor I in the Office of Undergraduate Academic Advising & Administration. The largest and oldest of the USC schools, USC Dornsife functions as the academic core of the university, offering courses and advancing knowledge across the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences. USC's Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts & Sciences Office of Undergraduate Academic Advising & Administration is seeking a Student Services Advisor I to join its centralized academic advising team. In their advising role, the Student Services Advisor I is committed to the overall success of assigned undergraduate students majoring and minoring in one of three identified clusters (Humanities, Natural Sciences, or Social Sciences). Specifically, the academic advisor helps students understand degree requirements; develop, cultivate, and transform academic goals and educational plans; understand academic policies and procedures; select majors and minors; explore curricular and co-curricular opportunities (i.e., research, study abroad, service learning, etc.); integrate career development opportunities, address concerns and challenges that impact academic success; connect with faculty members and university resources. Student Service Advisors I also liaise with departments to cultivate departmental relationships and provide regular updates and focus area specific training as needed. Responsibilities include:

The hourly rate range for this position is $29.68 - $33.16.
