Job Summary Assists faculty and professional staff with the planning, processing and coordination of educational opportunities. Provides student service program support, advisement and information resource referrals. Essential Functions 20% - Assists in providing program or procedural information related to the completion of forms and other related documentation using established standards and procedures 20% - Prepares and maintains routine and non-routine correspondence, reports, documents, records and files according to work specific work direction, established standards and procedures 20% - Retrieves information and enters/updates information in reports, logs or other documentation/record-keeping system 20% - Monitors supplies inventory, orders supplies, and/or processes and monitors supply requisitions 10% - Monitors and tracks expenses and may assist with the development of budget related materials and proposals 10% - Adheres to applicable policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and one year of clerical, administrative office support or related experience. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Special Requirements Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D Driver's License may be required for some assignments. Desired Qualifications A. Experience working with incarcerated students in a prison setting B. Experience working with online student databases C. Demonstrated experience working with a variety of computer software D. One (1) year of full-time relevant MCCCD experience during the previous two (2) years Special Working Conditions Travel to campus during interview/selection process will be at candidate's own expense. Will be required to travel or be assigned to all MCCCD locations.
