Job Summary The Maricopa Center for Learning and Innovation (MCLI) is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the department by coordinating and assisting with various programs, activities, and events. This position maintains liaison relationships with other administrators, departments, and outside organizations, and monitors services and activities and works with a diverse population of faculty, staff, administrators, and community members. This position is expected to perform basic research, preliminary analysis, coordination, budget management, and transactional support related to activities hosted by the MCLI. Essential Functions 35% Provides basic coordination and oversight of an assigned programs; responds to inquiries and solves problems in accordance with policies and procedures. 20% Prepares, processes and/or reconciles transactions, forms, paperwork and/or system data. 15% Organizes, updates and maintains program records, files, manuals and/or documentation. 10% Serves as a program liaison providing process and procedural coordination and support. 10% Monitors and ensures compliance with policies and procedures. 10% Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or a directly related field and one (1) year of experience in researching information, gathering data, performing preliminary analysis and preparing reports. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Special Working Conditions Occasional evening or weekend work to support special activities. Positions in this class typically require: typing, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Working Conditions: Work is routinely performed in an indoor, office environment.
