Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Senior Director, Executive & Enterprise Communications The Senior Director, Executive and Enterprise Communications leads how Arcwood communicates at scale - shaping how company strategy, executive priorities, and organizational change are communicated.

Reporting directly to the Chief Communications & Sustainability Officer, this role owns executive engagement strategy and enterprise-wide communications, helping align a complex, distributed organization around what matters most. As Arcwood grows, this role brings structure, clarity, and consistency to how information flows across the company.

Executive Communication Strategy

  • Leads Arcwood's executive and enterprise communications strategy, aligned to Company priorities, safety standards and long-term growth objectives
  • Establishes and executes a communication plan for the executive leadership team that connects strategy to employees and supports key internal and external stakeholder audiences
  • Develops executive messaging and briefing materials, including talking points, speeches, internal narratives and leadership content that reflects each leader's voice, while maintaining consistency
  • Leads CEO and executive employee communications, including the planning and execution of town halls, webcasts, videos, written updates and other leadership engagement moments

Enterprise Communication Strategy

  • Defines Arcwood's internal communications strategy, setting direction for how employees receive, understand, and engage with Company priorities
  • Owns the company-wide internal communications channel strategy, defining how platforms and touchpoints work together to deliver consistent, effective communications across the organization
  • Leads employee communications that support growth and integration, bringing all employees - new and existing - along on the Arcwood journey as the Company evolves

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborates closely with Human Resources, Operations, Safety and functional leaders to align enterprise messaging and support change initiatives, safety priorities, and business updates
  • Builds strong relationships across the organization - from executives to frontline teams - to support effective message delivery and adoption
  • Partners with Marketing teams to activate executive and enterprise communications across channels, including selective support for executive social media presence when appropriate

Audience Engagement & Integration

  • Tracks engagement and effectiveness of enterprise and executive communications, using insights to refine the approach and advise senior leadership
  • Guides integrated communications strategies for major Company news, aligning internal and external messaging to support clarity, consistency and leadership visibility
  • Promotes and models Arcwood's commitment to safety, compliance and environmental responsibility in all communications and work practices
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization


Education

- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or related field (required)


Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in executive communications, enterprise communications, or related leadership roles (required)
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering communications for C-suite executives in complex organizations (required)
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale internal communications programs and employee engagement moments, including with frontline employees (required)
  • Experience supporting executive communications across both internal and external contexts (preferred)
  • Experience in industrial, environmental, manufacturing, logistics, energy or similarly regulated industries (preferred)
  • Experience supporting organizations undergoing growth, transformation or acquisition activities (preferred)
