Department Summary The Department of Physician Assistant Studies is the academic home for students, faculty and staff involved in the Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree curriculum. Upon successful completion of the curriculum, graduates receive an MPAS degree. Located for more than 20 years in the heart of the Fort Worth, Texas, Cultural District, our UNT Health Physician Assistant Studies program has proudly helped shape the PAs that make a difference in our community. We are continually improving as we create experiential learning opportunities that prepare our graduates to begin an exciting medical career in one of the top professions in the country. Position Overview The Department of Physician Assistant (PA) Studies in the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at UNT Health is seeking an Administrative Business Coordinator to join the team. Serves as a key strategic and administrative support and partner for the Chair of the Department of PA Studies. Operates as both an internal and external liaison for the department and is responsible for ensuring seamless, transparent, effective operations, clarity of information, and facilitates and monitors the administration of the department. Manages operating unit, including financial reconciliation, tracking, and reporting, and assists with the preparation and management of department budget, faculty workload database maintenance, data tracking, and analysis. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
