Your role

As Laboratory Project Manager, at BeaconMedaes you will provide Inside Sales support for Laboratory pipeline and cryogenic products. Tasks include estimating, spec review, preparation of bids, coordinating with suppliers, and training outside sales personnel. The role will require a high level of product knowledge and best practices for applying them.

This opportunity is based in Rock Hill, SC.

Roles and Responsibilities-



  • Manage the technical aspects of the "sales and applications support process" for cryogenic and high purity gas pipeline products in the laboratory market, including assisting sales force in understanding and processing customer requirements.
  • Quotations and product recommendations shall be prepared in accordance with customer needs and specifications.
  • Provide equipment functionality and capability information and serve as an informational liaison for manufacturer's reps, direct reps, and service technicians internally and in the field. Working directly with the customer, including attending weekly progress meetings, shall be required on an as-needed basis.
  • Provide in depth technical knowledge relating to these products and applications to members of the sales team.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manage sub-order progress when necessary.
  • Review and respond to customer inquiries on a timely basis.
  • Develop & maintain good working relationship with customers, direct sales and manufacturer representatives.
  • Perform contract review and forward to appropriate personnel as per the quality management system process for terms and conditions review.
  • Prepare technical submittals for customer approval.
  • Prepare order releases and review all supporting documentation to confirm drawing submittal conformance to job requirements.
  • Provide project close-out support and document all pricing in the quote system.
  • Participate in Employee Development programs including product and application training, business and personal development.
  • Lead project progress meetings and customer updates as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


To succeed, you will need

Qualifications-

Experience:



  • 2+ years of experience in laboratory sector or recent graduate with intern experience.


Education:



  • Bachelor's (4-year) degree in engineering, science, or equivalent in the specialty gas business.


Skills:



  • Must be an independent self-starter, with excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including outlook, teams, word, excel, and share point.
  • AutoCAD experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to read pneumatic/hydraulic flow diagrams, electrical schematics, specifications and general installation drawings.
  • Knowledge of piped engineered systems.

Travel

Travel is required less than 5% of the time.

Job location


This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our BeaconMedaes office in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
