Accountabilities (What you'll be doing)/Potential Projects:



  • Conduct comprehensive market research across social media and digital platforms to identify and analyze key bakery-related players within major North American metropolitan areas, including:

    • Bakeries
    • Bakery cafes
    • Sandwich shops


  • Evaluate identified competitors and concepts to:

    • Highlight product offerings and concept differentiation
    • Identify potential product and innovation opportunities for Aspire Bakeries
    • Analyze product assortment mix by Aspire product category (ABCD-S) by metro area


  • Develop clear, visually compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings for both internal stakeholders and external audiences, focusing on:

    • Product assortment insights
    • Emerging trends and concepts
    • Competitive landscape analysis


  • Plan and coordinate bakery tours at Aspire Bakery locations, aligning visits with strategic objectives and keeping Aspire's core six customers top of mind.



Minimum Qualifications (What you bring to the table):



  • The Intern has a demonstrated interest in Bakery (Products) and proven experience in understanding and recognizing new and/or quality products and concepts.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science with Business/Entrepreneurship
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher



Program Eligibility:



  • Must be able to work full-time between June 1 - August 14, 2026
  • Must be able to work from the LA HQ, Monday-Thursday with the flexibility to work remotely each Friday
  • Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening with satisfactory results



Hourly Rate: $25.00
