Patient Care Coordinator Location: Johnston, IA (On-site) Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Pay Rate: $18/hr About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Johnston, IA. In this role, you will support patients, medical staff, and insurance partners by ensuring accurate coordination of information, timely processing of orders, and exceptional communication. Key Responsibilities * Answer incoming calls promptly, professionally, and with a friendly demeanor * Accurately convey messages and information to the appropriate staff * Coordinate patient, medical, and insurance records to ensure timely delivery and payment for medical equipment and supplies * Enter orders accurately in accordance with company policies * Address routine patient questions; escalate more complex inquiries to the appropriate team members * Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation Required Skills * Call center or customer service experience * Healthcare, medical, or patient care * Strong data entry and documentation abilities * Excellent communication skills with patients and medical staff * Ability to multitask and work well under pressure * Comfortable with both inbound and outbound calls * Proficiency with basic computer software; ability to learn EMR and billing systems Preferred Qualifications * Experience in billing, insurance, clinical support, or Medicaid * Familiarity with electronic medical records and billing software Workplace Type * Fully On-site - Johnston, IA Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnston, IA.
