Could you be the full-time onsite Quality Inspector in Newark, NY, US (EWR Airport) we're looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your quality assurance and control expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates. You'll play a key role in ensuring industrial quality standards are met throughout production and field operations, driving continuous improvement, safety, and compliance. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (operations, maintenance, management, and contractors), lead root-cause analysis for nonconformities, and contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance programs and initiatives, and much more. We'll look to you for:
Executing industrial quality inspections (QC/QA) on the shop floor and in the field during production and maintenance phases,
Tracking and reporting Defects Per Unit (DPU) to support line quality animation at the end of each shift,
Leading Handovers (GO/NO GO) and exercising veto authority in case of NO GO decisions when necessary,
Reporting and halting safety-related rework issues to ensure compliance with safety standards,
Participating in criticality matrix analysis and contributing to Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (P-FMEA),
Developing and maintaining Quality Control Plans and initiatives,
Managing internal Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) by creating, characterizing, and tracking them to closure using problem-solving methods such as QRQC and 5 Whys,
Conducting workstation audits and presenting findings during shift handovers.

Degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field. Equivalent handson mechanical/electrical experience in heavy industries (rail, automotive, industrial machinery, etc.) may substitute for a degree.
- Availability to work evening and night shifts (incl. weekends, etc.),
Experience or understanding of quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) processes in industrial manufacturing or field operations,
Knowledge of Nonconformance Reports (NCRs), root-cause methodologies (e.g., QRQC, 5 Whys), and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA),
Familiarity with quality management systems, preventive maintenance (PM), and corrective maintenance (CM) processes,
Strong communication skills-able to present audit findings, corrective actions, and recommendations clearly,
Ability to interpret and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety protocols,
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with operations, maintenance, management, and contractors.

Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 (+ 401k, medical benefits) You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
