Job Summary

Benjamin Moore is seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Marketing Development Manager to join our Retail Marketing team. The role translates Benjamin Moore's global brand vision into actionable local and regional marketing strategies that drive growth. Functioning as a strategic marketing consultant, this role delivers retailer marketing services and provides best practices guidance applicable across North America and select international markets. They are responsible for understanding market trends, consumer behavior, cultural nuances, and the competitive landscape to inform local campaigns, messaging, and creative assets that will drive consumer engagement and grow Benjamin Moore's market position.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

    Serve as key marketing contact to our field sales team, retailer network, and global distributors.
  • Implement Benjamin Moore's marketing strategy at the local level, prioritizing digital initiatives and seamless integration of multi-channel campaign activations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional sales and marketing teams to develop and execute retailer marketing initiatives and campaigns. Lead sell-in efforts including the creation and delivery of retailer support materials to drive program adoption and sales growth.
  • Work with and source external vendors to develop, manage and deliver marketing activations - including contract and scope management, creative development, sell-in and post-campaign reporting.
  • Manage end-to-end process of retailer custom marketing asset requests from initial intake to final delivery ensuring all materials align with Benjamin Moore brand standards. Oversee the development of multilingual marketing materials and digital content to tailored to regional audiences.
  • Proactively seek input from key sales, marketing and retailer partners. Monitor campaign performance and ROI across markets, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Support global brand initiatives and contribute to the overall international marketing roadmap.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, international business or equivalent business experience. At least five years of proven experience required.
  • Experience in working in retailer, field or channel marketing. Client management experience is a plus.
  • Overall knowledge of marketing principles and tactics. Strong digital marketing experience inclusive of paid media, search, social media, OTT and website optimization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with adherence to deadlines; flexible shifting priorities due to customer or business needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and influence effectively.
  • Highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with marketing automation and analytics; experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Multilingual skills or international work experience is a plus.
  • Up to 20% of travel may be required including international.


Pay Range

USD $95,600.00 - USD $122,300.00 /Yr.
