Purpose:

Develops and implements long range data and analytic strategy in alignment with corporate strategy, goals, and tactics enabling data driven decision making and insight generation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Closely collaborate with partners and stakeholders to mature our data driven road map and associated data-driven investments and governance processes or policies.
  • Creates strategic direction and roadmaps for the line of business supported.
  • Manage projects as requested, utilizing a standard project management methodology.
    • Analyze and develop new data assets, procedures, and workflows to continuously improve efficiencies, working environments, and system support services.
    • Takes responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation, and satisfactory completion of projects and reports to management.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of data-oriented programing languages (e.g. SQL, Python).
  • Broad understanding of statistical reporting demands, requirements, and compliance implications.
  • Expert knowledge of Analytics tools (e.g. MS Excel, Planning Analytics, Power BI).
  • Familiar with logical and/or physical data modeling techniques and Data Warehousing concepts.

Education, Certifications & Designations:

  • Required:
    • Graduate degree in Information Systems, Analytics, Data or related field. OR Equivalent experience and bachelor degree in Information Systems, Analytics, Data or related field.
  • Preferred:
    • Associate in General Insurance (AINS)
    • Project Management Certificate (PMP)
