Job Description

This role is based in our 605 Third Avenue office.

We are looking for an experienced Sr Business Development Manager to join our team in New York as part of LIONS Intelligence - comprised of the commercial functions of WARC, The Work, Contagious IQ, and Effies. This role will be responsible for generating new subscriptions revenue from an assigned territory. Note: this is a hybrid role (3 days per week in office), based out of our offices in NYC.

Key responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual subscriptions revenue targets
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline based on a targeted pursuit strategy and your wider business development efforts, including contact mapping and engagement plans for each target
  • Provide accurate monthly revenue forecasting to commercial leadership
  • Meet and exceed monthly activity KPIs that support pipeline development, consistently tracked in Salesforce
  • Establish and conduct the necessary industry, institution, and client research to create tailored outreach for your territory and to support a structured and consultative approach to prospecting
  • Present the LIONS Intelligence products and services with a high degree of professionalism
  • Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of sales administration
  • Proactively identify opportunities to capitalize on developments or changes in the marketplace
  • Work with sales management to develop and write strategic sales plans, and execute stated goals and objectives * You are an advocate and ally for diversity, equity and inclusion
  • You are a connector, working hard to ensure people and projects are not inadvertently siloed or silenced
Qualifications

* Strong track record of achieving sales targets, particularly within a subscriptions based model (or similar)

* Ability to identify, strategize and build new business opportunities

* Persuasiveness, executive presence outstanding communication and presentation skills, verbal and written

* Solid organizational skills and ability to work independently

* Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for LIONS content areas (marketing and advertising best practices in creativity and effectiveness)

* Committed, adaptable, and effective team player with a growth mindset * Understanding of key sales platforms such as Salesforce, Salesloft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator and how to use effectively * Willingness to attend industry events and travel as needed to expand business opportunities

The salary range for this role is $110,000- $120,000 based on experience.
