The Pricing Analyst applies principles of cost accounting to collect and analyze diverse and complex historical and estimated cost and pricing data. Prepares and analyzes production performance data. Utilizes diverse and complex databases, program knowledge, and historical data to prepare bids and cost proposals that are economically feasible and competitive. Performs risk analysis and negotiates business proposals.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • In this role you will partner closely with Division Leadership, Product Sales, Engineering, MarCom, and Field Sales to analyze pricing and contract performance. You will perform analysis and develop insights that influence negotiations and provide value-driven, clear pricing recommendations.

  • Assists the Division in determining appropriate list prices, standard discounts, and rebates. Manages any restructuring, updating, communication and publication of price adjustments.

  • Provide quotes/special pricing agreements using exception pricing guidelines. Continually review exception pricing process and make recommendations for improvement, maintaining a disciplined and structured approach to exception pricing.

  • Provide Division Leadership Team with reporting and analysis on pricing effectiveness, monitoring market trends and economic conditions. Identify and communicate risks. This can include preparing special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing diverse and complex information and trends.

  • Assists in analyzing Division product markets and families, determining the ceiling and floor prices of products in collaboration with Product Management. Evaluates cause and effect with pricing, volume, cost, competition, market strategy, product life cycle, distribution, and segmentation. Recommend appropriate levels.

  • Cleanse, organize, and interpret large datasets to support pricing recommendations and commercial decision making.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and other related pricing laws, regulations, and guidelines to minimize legal and financial exposure.

  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

  • Build a positive rapport with cross-functional teams across the Division as well as Field Sales.

  • Maintain timely responses to Pricing related customer inquiries through Divisional CRM software.

  • Measure and track Pricing performance KPI's relative to goals. Develop action plans surrounding continuous performance.

We are looking for talent with:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in pricing analysis or related roles, preferably within a finance, manufacturing, or supply chain environment with high volume transactions.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong Excel Skills required (queries, pivots, complex formulas).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills; capable of collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in pricing management.
  • Knowledge of Lean Tools and Problem-Solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities (organized).
  • Aptitude for business acumen and a desire to understand multiple areas of business to make informed decisions.
  • Strategic Pricing/Quote generation experience and/or project management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and policies. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) preferred.
  • Ability to effectively assess and implement continuous improvement principles and techniques.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must be able to maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping pricing information confidential.
