Starting Wage: $25.25 + 0.80 shift differential for 2nd shift Shift: 1st shift, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm AND 2nd shift, 1:50 pm - 9:50 pm, Monday - Friday Location: Staunton, VA What's in it for you: Paid Time Offand Holiday Pay Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans 401k match from Daikin Tuition Reimbursement Referral Bonus Program Growth Opportunities Climate Controlled Facility Your Responsibilities: Read, interpret, understand, and work from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, labor summaries, and other written, electronic, or verbal instruction Work with a variety of ferrous, non-ferrous and alloy materials Operate various tools and equipment used in the fabrication, handling, manipulation and movement of Chiller Product and various welding techniques Perform within and have working knowledge of ASME Code regulations Use measuring devices and visual inspection to ensure quality of product and conformity to prints, work instructions and standards Maintain required records Your Qualifications: The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment Must pass skills assessment Your Benefits: Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple Medical insurance plan options + Dental and Vision insurance Employer contributed 401k up to 100% on the first 3% and 50% on the 4th and 5th percent Company provided life insurance + optional employee paid voluntary life insurance, dependent life coverage and voluntary accident coverage Short term disability and optional employee paid voluntary long-term disability 40 hours paid time off for employees, first year prorated based on start date 88 hours company paid holidays Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
