Overview

The Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager (CRE RM) is responsible for revenue growth by developing, growing and managing a profitable commercial real estate credit and deposit portfolio that meets the Bank's standards for credit quality. The CRE RM is the Bank's primary contact person with commercial real estate developers/investors within the CRE market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze client and prospect needs and recommend structured solutions; serve as a cross-sale point of contact for treasury management, wealth management, and commercial banking products and services.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships. Hold regular meetings with commercial real estate developers/investors to anticipate and plan for future needs, offer innovative solutions, and determine appropriate credit size, terms, and pricing.
  • Complete and present accurate and well prepared Credit Presentations that include detailed analysis of the borrower and guarantors financial condition, credit history and experience, collateral, financial projections, market conditions, sources of repayment and other relevant information.
  • Develop and maintain a credit and deposit portfolio that complies with JFG's Credit Policy and CRE Underwriting Guidelines.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in business with emphasis in real estate and/or finance and accounting is preferred.
  • 3 - 10+years of commercial real estate banking experience with history in originating, underwriting and closing commercial real estate transactions is preferred.
  • Proven credit skills and a history of developing and maintaining solid client relationships are necessary.
  • Proven Ability to effectively develop and manage multiple commercial real estate relationships; sales track record with a history of prospecting new clients as well as developing and growing long term relationships with existing clients.
  • A quality book of business within the local market is preferred.
  • Exhibits leadership qualities with the ability to manage, coach and mentor Portfolio Managers and less experienced RM's.
