Position Title:Manager of Benefits Business Unit:Executive Compensation Reports to:Executive Compensation Director Position Overview: This role leads the design, administration, and evolution of the organization's benefit programs as FNB continues growing in size and complexity. The position drives data driven strategy, ensures competitive and compliant programs, manages daily administration, supports employee communications, and strengthens organizational objectives and highquality service. The Benefits Manager builds collaborative relationships across internal HR teams, FNB's lines of business and external partners to ensure programs are aligned, effective and supported. Primary Responsibilities: Uses data and analytics to guide benefits strategy by identifying trends, evaluating program performance, benchmarking against the market, and informing decisions that enhance competitiveness, costeffectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals. Oversees the management and administration of FNB's benefit programs and contracts through planning, budgeting, benchmarking and strategic evaluation. Ensures programs align with organizational goals, identifies costsaving opportunities, oversees implementations, and serves as the primary liaison and negotiator with external vendors. Holds vendors accountable by setting clear expectations, challenging performance gaps, reviewing metrics, and ensuring service commitments are met. Uses data, feedback, and regular evaluations to drive improvement, uphold program quality and safeguard FNB's financial commitment. Provides retiree and preretirement information, offers guidance on related plans, and serves as the primary contact for internal departments and the outsourced vendor handling FNB's pension calculations. Ensures ERISA compliance through review of plan documents and amendments, Summary Plan Descriptions, Summary Annual Reports, Summaries of Benefits and Coverage, and other related annual disclosures and requirements. Maintains compliance with applicable regulations by reviewing requirements, analyzing current plan design and documents, and auditing programs to confirm alignment with regulatory standards. Periodically engages with outside legal counsel on ERISA and regulatory matters. Drives internal and vendor benefit communications, ensuring clear, consistent messaging across multiple channels and aligning topic, tone, and content with internal partners. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
