What It Takes to Keep Quality Strong

• 
  

  Associate's Degree from a two-year college or technical school and/or three 1-2 years of related inspection experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  
  
• 
  

  Certified Mechanical Inspector certification and ISO 9001 experience preferred

  
  
• 
  

  Strong mechanical inspection skills with attention to accuracy and detail

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and technical documentation

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings

  
  
• 
  

  Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to apply common-sense reasoning to follow detailed written and oral instructions

  
  
• 
  

  Proficiency with database, spreadsheet, and word processing software

  
  
• 
  

  Experience with calibration software preferred

  
  
• 
  

  Strong dependability, attendance, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds as required

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to work in a moderate-noise manufacturing or inspection environment

  
  

On the Floor, Every Shift

• 
  

  Set up and perform accurate mechanical inspections of machined parts using standard inspection equipment, including sine plates and optical comparators

  
  
• 
  

  Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections for parts, components, assemblies, weldments, and wiring harnesses

  
  
• 
  

  Review work for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain, file, and manage inspection records, reports, and quality documentation

  
  
• 
  

  Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards

  
  
• 
  

  Manage multiple tasks effectively while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines

  
  
• 
  

  Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with employees across departments

  
  
• 
  

  Participate in proactive efforts to achieve departmental and company quality goals

  
  
• 
  

  Perform additional duties as assigned
