SENIOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER THE ROLE: AMD's technology validation team is a group withinourFoundry Technology Operationsdepartment. The group is located incentral Texasbut interfaces withsupportteams across the globe. Members of the technology validation team areprimarily responsiblefor the designand characterizationofadvancedmanufacturingtechnology.The teamfocuses on obtainingcritical data on yield, performance, and reliabilityto accelerate AMD product adoption.The team is also responsible for characterizingsome ofAMD'sfutureIP. The work done by the technology validation team paves the way for AMD's product roadmap and ensures informed decisionmakingby the executive team.The team interfaces directly with all of AMD's internal and external customers and suppliers. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate brings strong debugging and problem-solving abilities, paired with excellent written and verbal communication skills. They are a collaborative team player with solid interpersonal skills and can effectively manage multiple concurrent, fastmoving projects while maintaining focus and quality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
