Plan all weekly, monthly, and yearly personnel schedules. Coordinate hiring of all field operations personnel; coordinate management and medical training of supervisory personnel. Oversee inventory of major medical equipment and supplies. Project short and long term needs for service, revenue, personnel, capital etc., as it relates to operations. Develop disaster response criteria for department. Attends all City/County EMS Authority Meetings and other ancillary department meetings as needed. Formalizes and approves Q.A./Maintenance records for all Emergency Medical Equipment utilized by operations personnel. Maintains and updates Espanola s Policy and Procedure Manual as needed Develops and implements an Accident Investigation and Prevention Program for the department. Qualifications: Associate Degree in related field. Current NM Paramedic license plus 1 year EMS Management experience. Three years of EMS experience may be substituted in lieu of the minimum education requirement.
