Summary
Responsible for the overall day-to-day management of an assigned facility, location or group of locations. Also, responsible for ensuring vendors provide contracted services, overall safety and security, performing weekly facility inspections and supervising special projects.

Essential Functions
-Ensures work order requests are processed timely and work product is high quality.

-Problem-solves and negotiates contractor issues and ultimately hold vendors/contractors accountable.

-Ensures preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment are followed and completed timely.

-Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility.

-Key lead role on emergency preparedness planning team.

-Participates in staff hiring, work allocation, training, performance management, including required documentation, as well as other supervisory functions.

-Monitor, problem-solve and implement quality improvement initiatives that support program goals.

Education
Associate's degree Related Field of Study or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Underground Storage Tank Class A/B Operator [UST A/B - Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection preferred

Experience
Facilities Maintenance Experience 5-7 years required and Supervisory Experience 1-2 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledgeable with general building maintenance and safety requirements.
- Ability to effectively communicate with peers, co-workers and service providers.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Display strong leadership and communication skills to clearly manage and oversee program staff.
- Solid computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft programs.
