One of the mostconvenient ways to chargean EV is at home, overnight.The Strategic Operations Specialistfor Home Chargingis a critical member of the Global Business Operations team, responsible for ensuringcustomers can easilybuy,installand useTeslahome charging productseverywhere Tesla sells cars.

This role ensures sales, installation, and service channelsoperateeffectively for customers in all new and existing vehicle markets. It involves developingexpertisein local home charging markets and expanding Tesla's certified installer network to support growth. This is achieved by managing end-to-end onboarding processes, including installer candidate qualification, legal document reviews, information verification, and compliance checks. Post-onboarding, the role provides ongoing administrative support to installers. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ecommerce, vehicle sales, customer support, legal, and compliance, to ensure alignment with company standards.


What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with vehicle sales teams in upcoming and existingmarkets toassesshomecharging needs
  • Qualify andmanageonboarding ofCertified Installers for home charging equipment in upcoming and new vehicle markets;including verification of credentials, licensing, and compliance with regional regulations
  • Conduct legal requirement reviews for installer applications, ensuring alignment with local laws, industry standardsand company policies, performvalidationofsubmitteddocumentation (e.g., contracts, certifications, insurance) to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to coordinatecompliance checks for installers, including background screenings, license validations, and regulatory filingsto resolve discrepancies and ensure adherence to internal and external standards
  • Develop andmaintainstandardized onboarding checklists, templates, and training materials for regional teams
  • Manageadministrative procedures for partner collaborations, including document management, progress tracking, and system maintenance;provide regular updates to stakeholders on onboarding progress and proactively addressing bottlenecks tomaintaintimelines
  • Continuouslymonitorand evaluate the performance, trends, and dynamics of both new and established markets toidentifyopportunities, risks, and strategic insights

What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in onboarding, compliance, or operations roles, preferably in a global or regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of legal compliance, regulatory requirements, and document verification processes
  • Ability to manage multiple onboardingcases simultaneouslywhilemaintainingprecision and attention to detail; highly organized with the ability to adapt to evolving regulatory landscapes, internal procedures, businessprioritiesand market needs
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Sales, and regional operations; ability to interpret and apply regional compliance standards and company policies
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Preference for candidates with experience in installer or service provider onboarding or compliance auditing
  • Preference for candidates fluent in Spanish and other commonly spoken languages in addition to English

    Expected Compensation
    $80,000 - $150,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
