Overview

LMI is seeking an Energy Support program Manager to lead a team of subject matter supporting policies and programs to advance operational energy and installation energy innovations in the DoW. The position will be hybrid, with most work being remote, and some periodic visits required at the client site in the Washington, DC area.

Responsibilities

    Prepare and present project management reviews (PMR) monthly to Market Leader
  • Monitor project financials with the PCA and make adjustments to meet financial metrics; review and approve EACs
  • Manage subcontractors with the assistance of subcontracts & PCA
  • Serve as supervisor to the other LMI resources on the project (365 reviews, etc.)
  • Finalize and adjust Project Management Plans
  • Maintain project SharePoint files
  • Oversee quality of deliverables
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and work with Market and Senior PM to make adjustments to staff if necessary
  • Maintain charge code authorizations
  • Review/approve invoices
  • Initiate and Shepard new hiring actions as needed to replace or add staff
  • Periodically serve as reach-back SME support on operational energy / bulk fuel actions for then customer in times of surge


Qualifications

  • BS or BA - operations management, systems engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering, mathematics, science, business or similar degree
  • 15+ years' experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of the DoW and ASW(A-S) organizations
  • Superior consulting skills (developing briefings, issue papers, and analyses; meeting facilitation); superior writing and communications skills
  • Experienced working in a fast-paced highly visible environment on leading edge energy policy and program development and implementation
  • Experience supporting energy programs and initiatives for OSW
  • Top Secret Clearance
