Job Description




As a Security Officer Armed Campus Patrol Driver in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible, and help to reduce security-related incidents while delivering standout customer service to residents and guests. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, and communicate clearly with your team. This post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential streets, common areas, amenities, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor for and help to deter suspicious activity, unauthorized entry, and policy violations; communicate observations to the appropriate parties.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, and maintain control of issued equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
