Position Title: Mechanical Assembler
Wage: $17.00 - $25.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Thursday) Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Mechanical Assembler at a company in Milwaukee, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now! Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities: - Perform bench and structural assembly, boxing, and bagging of parts, components, and assemblies for snowplow and ice control product lines and accessories - Participate in team-based manufacturing and total quality commitment activities - Assume ownership of product quality and workplace safety - Participate in training and 6-S activities - Perform designated maintenance functions - Assemble products in paced conveyor and non-paced environments - Set up and operate assembly and packaging equipment - Unload parts from powered conveyors - Operate bagging machines, strappers, and assorted power and hand tools - Maintain safe working conditions and 6-S standards - Meet production plans and takt time requirements - Reduce and control scrap - Report assembly, packaging, or workplace issues to BU lead or supervisor - Use various material handling equipment - Perform timely preventive maintenance Requirements for Mechanical Assembler: - High School Diploma or GED - Previous assembly experience - Ability to comply with all regulations, procedures and company policies - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods - Ability to reach, bend and crouch throughout shift - Ability to lift up to 50lbs browndeer@qpsemployment.com IND102 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
