Payroll & Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities:



    • Ensure timely approval of timecards and accurate payroll processing.
    • Run, review, and audit payroll batches to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
    • Maintain accurate employee payroll records including new hires, changes, and terminations.
    • Process bonuses, commissions, expense reimbursements, and manual payroll adjustments.
    • Administer wage garnishments and required documentation.
    • Prepare payroll filings, W-2s, and compliance reporting.
    • Support payroll audits and resolve discrepancies.
    • Troubleshoot payroll and timekeeping system issues.
    • Support onboarding and HRIS setup for new employees.
    • Serve as a trusted payroll and HR resource for employees and leaders.
    • Assist with benefits administration and leave-related payroll.
    • Prepare payroll and HR reports to support leadership decision-making.




Minimum Required Qualifications & Education:



    • Minimum of three years experience in an accounting or payroll role supporting a large hourly workforce.
    • Proficiency with leading payroll and workforce management systems.
    • Working knowledge of payroll best practices and state payroll tax regulations.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Demonstrated accuracy, organization, and strong attention to detail.
    • Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Collaborative team player with a customer-service-oriented approach to supporting employees and leaders.




Preferred Qualifications and Experience:



    • Experience working in UKG; UKG Pro and/or UKG Workforce Management (Dimensions)
    • Completion of postsecondary coursework or continuing education in a related field is preferred but not required
    • Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
