Base Salary Range: Minimum $156,600.00 - Maximum $160,800.00

Position Summary

The Pulmonary APP provides specialty care to adult patients with chronic and complex respiratory conditions and in pulmonary clinic settings. Working in collaboration with the supervising physician, the APP delivers evidence-based evaluation, education, and management for patients with conditions such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary nodules. Additionally, this role may encompass the management of sleep disorders. The role supports access, continuity, and team-based care within the pulmonary service line.Responsibilities
*Evaluate and manage adult patients with pulmonary conditions in an outpatient clinic setting.
*Conduct history taking, physical exams, and review of diagnostic studies to guide clinical decision making.
*Develop and implement treatment plans for pulmonary conditions.
*Monitor and adjust therapies including inhalers, oxygen, and medications as clinically indicated.
*Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and lifestyle management.
*Communicate and coordinate care with supervising physicians, primary care providers, and specialists.
*Document accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
*Participate in follow-up of imaging, labs, and pulmonary function testing.
*Support patient access through timely follow-up and chronic disease monitoring workflows.
*Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to evidence-based pulmonary care.
Requirements
*Graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing or Physician Assistant program
*National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care, Adult or Family Medicine or national certification as a PA-C
*Unrestricted nursing license or physician assistant medical license(or ability to obtain) in Washington State.
*DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
*Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $156,600.00 - $160,800.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
