This 11-week summer internship is designed for senior undergraduate, Master's, or PhD students seeking exposure to a professional, corporate environment. The internship is project-based and designed to provide each intern clearly defined projects aligned to the hosting department's area of functional expertise and leadership at Incyte.
The role emphasizes learning, skill development, and practical application of academic knowledge while contributing to meaningful work.

Internship Overview:

This role will provide the intern with the opportunity for leadership of two projects that will enable broad exposure to the breath of strategic work in the Global Product Strategy Team. One project will focus on the strategic evaluation and decision-making processes that inform selection of clinical development strategies. The other project will focus on the go-to-market commercialization of a product currently in development to treat ovarian cancer.

(1) Tumor Landscape Report
Develop a comprehensive assessment of the clinical development / competitive landscape for a key solid tumor. The report will characterize the current and future landscape for standard of care, identify areas of unmet need, and include strategic implications that will facilitate decision making for the Incyte pipeline.

(2) Positioning Insights Summary Report
Development of a market positioning insights summary report for a product currently in development for ovarian cancer. The report will summarize learnings from primary market research interviews including an insights summary and recommendation for an initial market positioning.

* Independently plan and execute project tasks with manager guidance
* Analyze data or information and draw actionable conclusions
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders as appropriate
* Communicate progress and challenges proactively
* Deliver a final presentation with findings, outcomes, and recommendations

Minimum Requirements:

* Senior undergraduate, Master's, or PhD student at time of internship
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
* High level of initiative and accountability

Conversion Opportunity:

* Interns who demonstrate strong performance, skill alignment, and cultural fit may be considered for full-time employment following the program, based on business needs and role availability.
