TheSummerComplianceInternship Programis an11-week, project-based experiencethat gives students meaningful ownership of work, dedicated mentorship, and hands-on exposure to how the Compliance department operationalizes a comprehensive Compliance Programin a highly regulated industry. Interns will collaborate with business partners across a global organization and see how Compliance helps enable businessobjectives, mitigatesrisk, and supportsinnovation.

This program prioritizesskill developmentwhile ensuring interns contribute to impactful, real-world projects.No priorComplianceexperience or defined career path isrequired.We are looking for curious, inquisitive students who enjoy understanding how things work, asking thoughtful questions, and exploring how Compliance supports responsible business practices.

Strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn new tools, and an interest in technology, innovation, or AI are all plusesthough nopreviousexperience is needed.

KeyResponsibilities:

Support Compliance Program Activities

Policy & Training Support

  • Assistin developing, reviewing, and testing compliance policies and training materials.

  • Support the developmentof live training sessions and the creation or maintenance of eLearning modules within the Learning Management System (LMS).

Transparency & Reporting

  • Participate in the review and analysis of payment data involving healthcare professionals (HCPs) and healthcare organizations (HCOs).

  • Help develop summary reports, metrics, and insights that support transparency requirements.

Process & Tool Enhancement

  • Support the enhancement, documentation, and testing of compliance tools, systems, and resources.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with teams across various business units to support compliance-related activities.

  • Gain exposure to operational processes and how Compliance partners with the broader organization.

General Responsibilities

  • Provide support for ad hoc projects as departmental priorities evolve.

  • Contribute positively to a strong global culture of teamwork, compliance, and ethics.

MinimumRequirements:

  • Senior undergraduate, Master's, or PhD student at time of internship

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage ambiguity

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and solution oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities effectively.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, withanability to convey information clearly and professionally.

  • Detail oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Interest in pharmaceutical industry regulations and corporate compliance, with curiosity to learn more about how compliance supports ethical business practices.

Conversion Opportunity:

  • Interns whodemonstratestrong performance, skill alignment, and cultural fit may be considered for full-time employment following the program, based on business needs and role availability.
