Opportunity:

The Recreation and Wellness Center at UCF is seeking a Facilities Scheduler. This role is responsible for coordinating reservations for meeting rooms and sports facilities across 16 locations on campus. The Facilities Scheduler will work closely with registered student organizations, university departments, and external groups to reserve space, manage schedules, and support the planning of special events.

Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for scheduling and reservations at 16 different UCF recreational sites.

  • Coordinates the equipment and operations of 16 sites.

  • Supervises student assistants for 20 hours a week of work and assists with student supervision of the other facility student positions.

  • Facilitates and/or serve on RWC, SDES, and UCF committee.

  • Manages inventory involved with scheduling sites.

  • Risk Management in areas of responsibility.

  • Manages all travel for the RWC full-time and student staff.

  • Assists with RWC financial reconciliations, specifically the depositing of income.

  • Coordinate checking out and managing inventory of keys, as well as the TRAKA box.

  • Serves as instructor for American Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED certification program.

  • Ensure compliance with all UCF policies and procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.




Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Certification as an American Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor.

  • Experience working in campus recreation, athletics, or facility operations, ideally within a university or highereducation environment.

  • Experience coordinating events or managing reservations, including scheduling space and supporting logistics for internal and external groups.

  • Experience managing inventories, including keys, equipment, or operational assets.




Special Instructions to the Applicants:



  • Position requires a valid Class E. Driver's License. This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University Business.

  • The anticipated hourly range for this position is $15.66 - $17.23. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
