Job Summary:

We are looking for an HRIS Specialist II to join our People & Culture (HR) team. This role is perfect for someone who loves systems, thrives on detail, and enjoys solving problems with a customer-service mindset. The HRIS Specialist performs a variety of day-to-day administrative Human Resource Information System (HRIS) functions ensuring data integrity and the processing and reporting of HR data. Handles problems and non-routine situations by determining the approach or action to take and interprets guidelines, procedures, policies, and practices. Serves as a liaison between the People and Culture and Digital Transformation and Technology departments providing systems support and analysis to meet the needs of the People and Culture department and users of the HRIS.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide support across multiple human resource functions such as Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning, Talent and Performance, and core business processes like job changes, terminations, and leaves of absence.

  • Administer and configure Workday, including business processes, workflows and security.

  • Serve as a point of contact for Workday including navigation, transactions and reporting.

  • Conduct regular audits and system clean-up to ensure data accuracy and integrity across all Workday modules.

  • Build and deliver advanced reports and dashboards using Workday reporting tools.

  • Conduct data analysis on HR data such as employment, compensation, classifications, and/or benefits data ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Create and maintain job aids, training videos, and user communications.

  • Train HR team members and end-users on system functionality and best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline HRIS processes and improve the user experience.

  • Participate in system testing, upgrades, and enhancement rollouts.

  • Contribute to special projects as assigned.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Applied Knowledge & Skills:

  • Working knowledge of principles, practices and standards of human resource administration and human resource information systems.

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Collaborative approach with a strong customer-service orientation.

  • Ability to work well with others and independently.

  • Ability to handle confidential data with discretion.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resource Management or Related Field.

Experience:

  • Typically requires 5-8 years of experience with human resources and information systems.

  • 3+ years of Workday experience, across multiple modules required.

  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data.

  • Experience creating calculated fields.

  • Experience with EIBs and data loads.

Typical Physical Demands:

  • Typical office environment.

  • Ability to spend long hours looking at a computer screen and doing repetitive work on a keyboard.

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to lift/move up to 5 lbs.

Technology to be Used:

  • Personal Computer/Laptop, Microsoft applications (i.e., Office 365, SharePoint, Skype/Zoom/Teams), and standard office equipment.

Travel Requirements:

  • Less than 10%

The expected US Based hiring salary range for this role is listed below. Candidates FHI 360 pay ranges represent national averages that vary by geographic location. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, business sector, and budget.

Base salary is only one component of our offer. FHI 360 contributes 7% of monthly base pay to a money purchase pension plan account. Additionally, all US based staff working full-time, which is calculated at 40 hours/week, receive 18 days of paid vacation per year, 12 sick days per year, and 11 holidays per year. Paid time off is reduced pro rata for employees working less than a full-time schedule.

US Based Hiring Salary Range: USD 80,000 - 110,000 annually
