Operational Technology Cybersecurity Business Operations Lead

The Opportunity:

Help grow Booz Allen's global Commercial OT (Operational Technology) Cybersecurity Practice.Working with the OT Cybersecurity practice leader, define the OT team's direction, standards and requirements for services and solutions sold to Booz Allen Commercial customers. Enable businesses to understand risks and overall security posture of their existing and new OT cyber constructs. Educate and influence client executive and engineering teams on OT cyber best practices. Work proactively with leaders across all levels to design, implement, and support solutions that ensure clients have best practice approach to secure their OT environment. Lead, hire, and inspire teams of OT cyber experts to perform OT cybersecurity risk assessments, developing security documentation, and designing and implementing industrial cybersecurity solutions.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience leading technical teams executing OT cyber initiatives

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, proposal creation, driving go-to-market strategies, and tracking business growth

  • Experience working with senior leaders, including CISO, CIO, and CTO, and executives to ideate, build, and execute OT cybersecurity capability maturation

  • Experience leading and managing varied and remote teams, meeting aggressive deadlines, thriving in a dynamic and high intensity environment, and presenting and communicating to teams, executives, and clients, including briefings, sales calls, and team-based discussions

  • Experience with synthesizing technical content and distill into key messages that will resonate with senior business leaders and author technical documentation, white papers, and blogs on leading cybersecurity topics and concepts

  • Experience presenting recommendations and roadmaps to executive stakeholders

  • Knowledge of various vendors and types of Industrial Control System (ICS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs

  • Knowledge of analyzing and providing recommended improvements to OT Cybersecurity programs and systems to meet industry standards and best practices

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity functions, including risk management, vulnerability assessments, security assessments, strategy, and program development, and security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentications systems, log management, and content filtering

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, NERC CIP, or other industrial control regulations

  • Experience analyzing vulnerability and security risk assessment tool results, including from OT Passive Monitoring Tools

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity tools, network topologies, intrusion detection, PKI, and secured networks

  • Knowledge of any automation or control systems programming software

  • Possession of excellent project management skills, including in finance, resource management, planning, and delivery execution

  • Global Industrial Cybersecurity Professional (GICSP), Certified SCADA Security Architect (CSSA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $162,800.00 to $303,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
