Overview
Microsoft Advertising (MSA) is seeking an Executive Communications Director to lead executive and employee communications for MSA's senior leadership. In this role, you will serve as the principal architect and trusted advisor for all aspects of executive communications, shaping and amplifying the voice of leadership to advance Microsoft Advertising's business objectives and culture. You will partner closely with executives, business managers, and leadership teams to develop and execute internal and external communications strategies that clarify organizational vision and elevate Microsoft Advertsing's purpose to innovate a new world of advertising possibilities to empower growth for all. The scope includes strategic narrative development, storytelling, employee and event engagement, social media leadership, and thought leadership positioning. You will also lead the overall communications strategy for the executive office, ensuring alignment with team and organizational goals. This includes providing guidance to leadership teams and the executive communications community. Success in this role requires effective collaboration across the broader organization and with key partners including Product, Engineering, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Sales and Marketing. You should thrive in a team environment, deliver impactful results, and uphold the team's commitment to integrity and trust. Discretion in handling confidential corporate information is essential. This role reports to the Chief of Staff of Microsoft Advertising and works closely with all MSA leadership teams, in particular, our Corporate Vice President. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
