A Brief Overview

Hunt Companies, Inc. is a diversified, family-owned holding company that invests in operating businesses, real estate assets and infrastructure assets. Hunt is seeking rising juniors or seniors who have a strong interest in learning about real estate including development, asset management and PPP (public-private partnership) functions. Participation in the program is intended to provide a ten to twelve week long training and mentoring program with exposure to various areas of the business. This paid internship will commence in May and continue to September, but could be shorter or go longer depending on availability of interns.

What you will do



  • Tasks and training surrounding development activities.
  • Tasks and training regarding asset management and operations of existing properties.
  • Work with senior leadership and other professionals shadowing calls and independent projects for Hunt Development Group.


Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or GED Required and
  • some college experience (Junior or Senior) Required
  • Bachelor's Degree recent undergraduate interested in a career in real estate Preferred
  • Related work / business experience Preferred
  • Strong academic background as a rising junior or senior majoring in business or real estate
  • Self-motivated, creative, and disciplined seeking to excel in the commercial real estate finance industry
  • Excellent oral, written and communication/presentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing environment and support of multiple leaders.
  • Requires a self-motivated individual who pays close attention to detail and who can prioritize in a fast-moving environment who can demonstrate client management and basic business literacy skills.
  • While working in an independent and reliable manner, teamwork and effective communication will also be necessary for success.


You must be able to pass a drug, background screen, and motor vehicle record check (if one is required per the position).
