Great Hill is seeking a Program Management Specialist to support our government client in Orlando, Florida. The Program Management Specialist will provide planning, scheduling, tracking, and coordination support for a small team operating within a large Department of Defense program.

The successful candidate will gather information and maintain accurate tracking of contractrelated documentation, including Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and associated cost data. Responsibilities include preparing and updating documents such as wordprocessed reports, specialized spreadsheets and trackers, and charts or graphics using Microsoft Office tools for government review and approval. The role also involves creating and modifying electronic and printed presentations as required.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Assist in program planning and programming actions, provide recommendations to resolve problems and issues to limit impacts on program cost, schedule and performance.
  • Provide programmatic, technical and fiscal management assistance as coordinator of multiple projects in support of current contracts.
  • Assist in preparing risk management plans, risk mitigation plans, and implementation plans.
  • Create and maintain clear and detailed trackers to manage the data associated with the program contract costs and financial data.
  • Support assigned project meetings, reviews, and technical interchanges as required.
  • Prepare fact-sheets, briefing presentations, technical analysis, graphics, etc.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Active Top Secret Clearance and eligibility for SCI access.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Should be comfortable working on a small team including remote team members.
  • Ideal candidate is flexible, able to multi-task, and mission-focused.


Desired Skills:



  • Experience working in a military environment and be able to recognize military ranks and address senior military personnel appropriately.
  • Experience working in a DoD Acquisition program environment (possibly working as an assistant project or program manager).
  • Must be familiar with the DoD Acquisition process and how to read a contract (where do you find the CLINs, what the major sections are).
  • One of various project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or Agile.
