Overview

You will support the development and execution of a framework for identifying and escalating customers of concern who drive or are involved in Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) risk events, such as the filing of a Suspicious Activity Report. This role focuses on assessing risk and determining appropriate, proportionate actions to mitigate potential exposure. Actions may include adjusting customer risk ratings, applying enhanced due diligence and monitoring, imposing restrictions, escalating matters to Global AFC for clients with global relationships, or exiting the customer relationship when warranted.

What You'll Do

  • You will define and maintain the list of AFC risk events requiring escalation and review

  • You will support the Customer Risk Working Group, with AFC teams and business partners, to assess customer relationships, determine the need for escalation to Senior Management, and propose risk mitigation actions

  • You will escalate customers and recommended actions to the AFC Management-led working group for review and decision-making

  • You will drive agendas, prepare materials, and lead discussions in the AFC Management-led working group

  • You will track all action items, assign ownership, and ensure alignment between business forums and the AFC Management-led working group

  • You will provide information and support related to audit and regulatory exam requests

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience within the AFC function or in business line roles supporting an AFC program

  • Strong knowledge of bank customers, products, and services

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Experience performing financial crime investigations

  • Ability to act decisively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results independently

  • Strong analytical, judgment, and research skills to evaluate complex issues

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak and present effectively

  • Ability to identify, escalate, and communicate issues to management clearly and succinctly

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $60,000 to $92,500 Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
