Overview

We are seeking a skilled Assurance Operations professional to join our team. This role focuses on supporting safe, controlled application operations across Dev, Test, and Prod environments by managing application secrets, enforcing change control, administering enterprise scheduling and mainframe security, and executing deployments across on-premise and cloud platforms. You will serve as a key gatekeeper for release governance and work closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to provide hands on troubleshooting support during active incidents and ensure operational stability aligns with organizational standards and goals.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities
  • Manage application secrets and credentials across Dev, Test, and Prod using HashiCorp Vault and Azure Key Vault, including rotation, lifecycle management, and access enforcement through ServiceNow
  • Execute and support application deployments to Test and Production for 300+ applications across on premises and cloud platforms, partnering with development, infrastructure, and operations teams
  • Enforce release governance and change control by validating approvals, documentation, and environment targeting, while maintaining a clear audit trail of deployments
  • Provide hands on troubleshooting and recovery support during active incidents to restore application services safely and quickly
  • Administer enterprise platforms, including Enterprise Scheduling Platform (ESP) and mainframe security using RACF, supporting CECONY and O&R environments
  • Manage service accounts, privileged credentials, and RPA BOT credentials to ensure secure access, compliance, and operational stability

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience
  • Master's Degree and a minimum of 2 years relevant full-time work experience or
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant full-time work experience or
  • Associate's Degree and a minimum of 4 years relevant full-time work experience or
  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years relevant full-time work experience
Preferred Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering, Business or applicable degree and a minimum of 5 years relevant full-time work experience supporting enterprise applications or technology operations
Relevant Work Experience
  • Experience managing enterprise secrets and credentials with strong lifecycle and access control practices, required
  • Experience supporting application deployments in test and production environments with documented change control, required
  • Ability to troubleshoot effectively during incidents with clear communication and documentation, required
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for understanding user needs, required
  • Experience working within ticket-based workflows, including ServiceNow, preferred
  • Experience with HashiCorp Vault, including AppRoles, policies, and secret lifecycle management, preferred
  • Experience administering Azure Key Vault using the Azure Portal and Azure Cloud Shell, preferred
  • Experience performing bulk updates or automation using CLI scripting, preferred
  • Experience with Enterprise Scheduling Platform (ESP) and RACF administration, preferred
  • Experience supporting regulated or audit sensitive environments with strict traceability requirements, preferred
  • Experience in production support, operational assurance, system monitoring, incident and change management, and working with cross functional technology teams, preferred

  • The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
