Department of Ophthalmology seeks a full time (1.0 FTE) Assistant or Associate Professor to provide pediatric glaucoma specialty care in our growing academic ophthalmology practice at The Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) and University of Colorado Denver (UCD) affiliate sites of practice. Key Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for direct outpatient medical and surgical management of pediatric glaucoma at the The Children's Hospital Colorado, and affiliate sites of practice. Role will include resident teaching, and basic or clinical applied research. Coordination of care of complex pediatric patients with multiple services at CHCO. Supervision of medical and surgical care provided to these patients by pediatric ophthalmology and glaucoma fellows.

Qualifications: |
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below: Assistant Professor:
- Completion of an approved residency program in ophthalmology.
- Must be Board Certified or eligible and have a Colorado medical license or be eligible.
- Must be fellowship trained in pediatric ophthalmology.
- At least 1 year experience.
Associate Professor:
- Completion of an approved residency program in ophthalmology.
- Must be Board Certified or eligible and have a Colorado medical license or be eligible.
- Must be fellowship trained in pediatric ophthalmology.
- At least 3 years' experience.

Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: Assistant Professor: $180,000 to $220,000 Associate Professor: $200,000-$230,000 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
